Sybie earned her Early Childhood Degree in northern Germany where she was born and raised. She moved to the US in 2001, and worked since then in different Preschools with neurotypical children. She was awarded the Teacher of the Year Award in 2012. She became the director of the Bay Area KInderstube in Albany and KInderHaus in San Francisco from 2009 until 2014. When her husband fell ill, life had a different meaning and Sybie started to work with severely disabled children and children with ASD for over five years for the Marin County of Education before she came to Helix. Sybie enjoys hiking, playing tennis, walking her dog and loves to cook.
