Dawn (she/her), M.A.T., is a level 4 aide at the Helix School.  Dawn attended The University of the Pacific through the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute (BATTI) where she earned a M.A. in curriculum design and teaching, along with a general education elementary teaching credential.  She has taught at several Marin schools and was also an aide at SFUSD in self-contained SI (severely impacted) Autism classrooms in grades preK - 5th grade. She has been teaching and learning from students with Autism for over 15 years.  She has found that she has a special connection with people with Autism and considers her work part of her beautiful life mission on this planet.
