Deanna was born and raised in Ohio and loves that she now gets to call California home. Deanna and Helix found each other through Helix’s founder, Marjorie McMorris. After a 30-year career in the private school world, Deanna was looking to land at a school with a heart and mission she could rally around. Helix is just such a place. We bring autism expertise and compassion and grit to the table and that is why so many of our families have found a home here. When not working, Deanna enjoys spending time with her 4 adult children, camping, biking, playing games and exploring new places.
