Wambui has worked in education for six years. She has earned Associates Degrees in Early Childhood Education, Social & Behavioral Sciences, and Psychology from Contra Costa College. She is currently pursuing a BA in Psychology at San Francisco State University. Wambui spent a year teaching drama classes to elementary students before being introduced to the world of autism and falling in love with it. She worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for a few years before joining Helix. Outside of work, Wambui enjoys singing her heart out with the music up loud, planning her next vacation getaway, and sitting by the water as she admires nature.
