December Newsletter
We are entering the home stretch!
Dear Helix Community, First, looking ahead:
A reminder that Dawn Coons's last day is this coming Friday, December 15. We are so grateful for the service Dawn has given to our students and to Helix and we wish her Aloha as she makes her journey to Hawaii. Staff will gather on Wednesday and celebrate our dear colleague.
We welcome TJ Montgomery! TJ joins the MSC classroom this week. TJ has a BA in Psychology and over 10 years in the industry. Most importantly, he has a heart for this work and while spending this past week on campus completing his onboarding, he has quickly felt like a member of the Helix team. Welcome TJ!
Looking for something for your student to do over the Winter Break? Don't forget to check out our camps! Join us at our special Winter Camp at The Helix School! From December 26th to 29th. Our dedicated team has crafted a warm and inclusive environment where the students can engage in fun and enriching activities. Tailored to accommodate diverse needs, our Winter Camp offers a range of sensory-friendly experiences, including winter-themed arts and crafts, interactive games, and outdoor adventures. Embrace the magic of the season as we create lasting memories in a supportive and understanding community. Come together with us this holiday season for a joyful and inclusive winter camp experience. See the flyer below for details.
Reminder that going forward all questions regarding student activities should be directed to our Coordinator of Student Activities, Anthony Baca, anthony@thehelixschool.org
